At OCD Anxiety Centers, our OCD treatment program, is overseen by founder and CEO Paul Peterson, LCSW and informed by his over 40,000 clinical hours with OCD and anxiety treatment. Specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, our proprietary approach achieves an average 64% reduction in symptoms for clients completing our intensive outpatient program.
This evidence-based care, supported by extensive research and outcomes, distinguishes us from traditional therapies, offering unparalleled symptom reduction for those seeking effective treatment.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a structured and proven method to address OCD and anxiety. Over thousands of clinical hours and with numerous clients, we’ve found that dedicating three hours per day, five days a week, is essential for meaningful progress. This intensive schedule, typically spanning several weeks, enables clients to experience significant symptom reduction and positive shifts in their daily lives. Our highly trained team ensures that each individual receives care tailored to their unique needs.

In a nutshell, this facility and this program is effective. It worked for me, and I believe it will work for every person who is willing to 1) show up, 2) trust the process, and 3) challenge yourself to do some of the scariest, hardest things you've ever done once you've been here long enough that you feel like you can approach them.
When I came, I was having panic attacks and debilitating anxiety and depression. I'm graduating today from the IOP and have achieved 80% reduction in my Generalized Anxiety and Social Anxiety symptoms. I've also practiced (and practiced and practiced) going through my hard emotions and responding to them in ways that 1) help me cope with the current feelings, and 2) will teach my brain and my emotions to respond in a more helpful way in the future. I feel ready to move forward into the rest of my life. Truly life-changing, for me at least. And I'm not the only one.
The resources are excellent, and even after completing the program, the support doesn’t stop. Because of the growth and strength I found through therapy here, I went on to do more hard things—like having weight loss surgery (down 100 lbs in 9 months!) and going back to school. I’m now living a life I honestly never thought was possible.
There is hope. ❤️
If you’re struggling, please try something hard—even if it’s scary. It’s worth it. This place proves that healing can happen.
