Levels of Care
Effective treatment for anxiety disorders and OCD requires more than symptom management—it requires consistent, structured practice and support.
Intensive treatment allows clients to engage in evidence-based therapy frequently and deliberately, accelerating progress and creating meaningful, lasting change. By practicing skills daily, receiving close clinical guidance, and engaging in real-time exposure work, clients are better equipped to reduce avoidance, tolerate uncertainty, and regain functioning more quickly.
We offer multiple levels of care to meet each client’s clinical needs, schedule, and preferred treatment format.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
6 hours per day, Monday–Friday
PHP is our highest level of structured care and is designed for individuals who need intensive daily support to stabilize symptoms and make rapid, meaningful progress. This level of care is appropriate when symptoms significantly interfere with daily functioning or when prior treatment has not led to sufficient improvement.
PHP includes a comprehensive treatment approach with multiple therapy modalities, daily exposure and response prevention (ERP) work, psychiatric oversight, and structured skills practice. The immersive nature of PHP allows clients to build a strong clinical foundation and develop the momentum needed for sustained recovery.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
3 hours per day, Monday–Friday
Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides a focused, specialized environment for individuals who require more support than weekly outpatient therapy but do not need full-day treatment. IOP is well-suited for clients who are ready to actively engage in treatment while maintaining some daily responsibilities such as school or work.
Through frequent, structured therapy and consistent exposure practice, IOP helps clients achieve meaningful symptom reduction in a shorter timeframe than standard outpatient care. This level of treatment emphasizes skill generalization, real-world application, and long-term maintenance of progress.
