Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at OCD Anxiety Centers is designed for individuals with anxiety and OCD related disorders who require a higher level of structured support than Intensive Outpatient treatment can provide.
Our PHP delivers intensive, evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s clinical presentation. Care is guided by an advanced clinical framework that integrates scientific principles, specialized expertise in OCD and anxiety treatment, and consistent therapeutic engagement. This approach allows clients to make meaningful progress while actively working toward reclaiming daily functioning and quality of life.
PHP is also an appropriate level of care for individuals stepping down from residential treatment who benefit from continued structure and clinical support as they transition back into daily routines.
Program Structure
PHP runs five days per week, for six hours of programming per day. Treatment is immersive, structured, and intentionally designed to promote skill acquisition, exposure practice, and sustained symptom reduction.
Programming includes:
- Daily group-based therapeutic programming
- Regular, clinician-supported exposure and response prevention (ERP)
- One individual therapy session per week focused on exposure work and family involvement
- A weekly family group, offered up to twice weekly as clinically indicated
- Monthly psychiatric appointments for medication evaluation and oversight
This level of intensity allows for rapid skill development, consistent clinical feedback, and strong treatment momentum.
